What is Leadworthy?
Leadworthy The Course
Leadworthy The Course develops critical, life-changing skills for grades 6 to 12 including taking personal responsibility, expressing themselves well, and making good decisions when problems arise. Schools may offer these courses in either semester or full-year formats. Leadworthy The Course is a leadership development and character education elective for both middle school and high school students. It is approved for course credit in some states. The Flippen Group must certify Course Leaders to deliver the Leadworthy The Course curriculum. Click here for certification information. This research-based curriculum includes topics very relevant to the needs of current students, such as public-speaking and goal setting. As an outcome, students in Leadworthy The Course develop a healthy self-concept, healthy relationships and a sense of personal responsibility. Students and Course Leaders participating in Leadworthy The Course are invited to attend Leadworthy Live.

Online Resources for Course Leaders
Certified Course Leaders will have online access to Leadworthy content through our exclusive Capturing Kids’ Hearts resource center, IHeartCKH. IHeartCKH is your one-stop shop for accessing Leadworthy resources as well as additional tools to implement Capturing Kids’ Hearts processes.
Leadworthy Moments
Leadworthy Moments are short exercises designed to help incorporate character-based education into any classroom. Designed for all grade levels (PreK-12) focusing on 9 themes: attitude, communication, courage, empathy, integrity, relationships, respect, self-management, and teamwork. The exercises include hundreds of activities, videos and quotes.
Course Leader Certification
The Leadworthy Certification includes four online training modules presented by Flippen Group strategists to prepare Course Leaders for teaching Leadworthy The Course in either High School or Middle School.

Leadworthy The Course curriculum and resources are also made available in IHeartCKH. These resources for Course Leaders include interactive views of each middle school or high school lesson, course leader versions of the student manuals, video content and additional resources and tools to support teaching Leadworthy The Course curriculum in the classroom.
